Kathy Higgins is a Certified Public Accountant and a Senior Consultant for Real Possibilities, LLC.

Kathy has more than 20 years experience with increasing levels of responsibility in both a corporate and small business environment. She began her career as a staff accountant with NUI Corp., the parent company of Elizabethtown Gas Company. 

After five years with NUI, she moved to Ingersoll Dresser Pump Company, a division of Ingersoll Rand.  During her 15 years at Ingersoll, she served as Accounting Manager, International Reporting Manager and finally as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis.  One of the most enjoyable aspects of her career at Ingersoll was the opportunity offered for international travel. 

Beginning in 2000, Kathy joined Engelhard Corporation as Finance Manager for their Process Technology Group. Her responsibilities included oversight of financial management for the Group’s worldwide manufacturing facilities, as well as corporate reporting and planning for the Group.

In December 2005, Kathy joined LLTeach Inc, an educational services company, as Operations Manager/Controller. In this role, her years of corporate finance and accounting experience were utilized to help a small business improve processes and create growth opportunities.

Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Rutgers University. She is a member of the New Jersey Society of CPA’s.
